Just completed a buyer home inspection on a home in Watson, LA. Total inspection time was about 2.5 hours and the home inspector was Clayton Weeks - who is a superstar home inspector!

He completed a very thorough interior & exterior inspection of the home including the attic & the roof. He uncovered a few issues that we hope to address with the seller including an active leak from the upstairs bathtub drain. Clayton used his thermal imaging detector to verify that it was an active leak. All the appliances, including the hot water heater & a/c & heating systems, were checked and all electrical outlets were tested as well.

While our home inspector was at the house, we also conducted a Wood Destroying Insect inspection as well with a local pest control company and they determined there were not any active infestations of termites or other wood destroying insects.

Home inspections are a critical part of the home buying process. It is the buyer's first in-depth look at the condition of the home from an unbiased, 3rd party and trained & licensed professional's perspective. The report we received is about 73 pages long and is full of pictures and notes/comments on the condition of the home. It contains some items that do need to be addressed quickly as well as some items that may need to be addressed over the long term. The report also contains many, many items that the inspector determined were satisfactory and require no repair from either the buyer or the seller.

Please reach out if you have any questions about a home inspection - I'd love to speak with you!
